Mr. Sunil Sikka is currently an Advisor to the Electric Lamp and Components Manufacturers Association of India which is an apex association of sixty-seven lighting manufacturers in India and amongst the senior members of Fan Manufacturing Associations besides representing Havells in industry associations like, FICCI, CII, Assocham, Bureau of Indian Standards, Bureau of Energy Efficiency, etc. Prior to this, he was the head of Havells and served as President contributing mainly to technology tie-ups, acquisition and mergers, strategy & expansions and corporate affairs. He joined Havells in the year 2000 as Vice President to lead the Joint Venture with Dorman Smith of UK for Crabtree Electrical Wiring Accessories. In the year 2003, he got inducted back to the mainstream of Havells as Senior Vice President for creating and steering new verticals of consumer electrical and lighting. Prior to this, he worked with Bajaj Electricals in different capacities in sales and marketing for over twenty years. 

He is an Electrical Engineer with a postgraduate qualification in Management from Faculty of Management Studies, He started his career with American Universal (India) Ltd., part of DLF Group manufacturing FHP Motors and Fans which was later acquired by General Electric of USA. 

Mr.Sikka lives in New Delhi with his wife, Dr. (Mrs.) Meera Sikka who is a Director/Professor University of Medical Sciences, University of Delhi. They have two sons-Arpit and Abhishek.
