I have completed my schooling from St. Columba’s, New Delhi, after which I did my graduation in Economics (H) from Hindu College, Delhi University in 1978. I did my post-graduation in Economics from the Delhi School of Economics in 1980. I joined FMS, Delhi University for my MBA, for self-development. I got the opportunity to interact with some of the best brains in the business world here.

After working in Indian Airlines for one year, I joined Allahabad Bank as Probationary Officer and retired as Senior Manager in October 2018. I have worked in the banking industry for 36 years looking after business mobilization, training, mechanization of branches, and customer service. For 4 years I was in the audit of branches and controlling offices across North India. It was a fulfilling journey and a privilege to work in the public sector, wherein I got the opportunity to serve the poorest of the poor in rural areas to the ultra-rich in the cities.

Since November 2018, I have been leading a retired life. To keep myself busy, I am working as a Manager in PNB MetLife. I am also the Joint Treasurer in the Senior Citizens Welfare Association, Saket. I am fond of reading, traveling, and listening to music.
